Make Some Money This Summer

With minimum wage up to $10 an hour a summer job may be a serious consideration of yours. But before you go and start applying, here are some things that you should definitely know:
Work Permits
Every minor in the state of California under 18 is required to get a work permit. Now where can you get one? Well you can actually get one here. After you fill it out and get it sign by your prospective employer and your parents you need to then get it processed by the school. But realize that the school will need around 48 hours to get it processed. After all of this is processed you can bring the permit back to your prospective employer.
Applications
Make sure that your application is fully complete and all directions are clearly followed. Also always answer all questions very truthfully and to the best of your knowledge. Refrain from using any slang in your application. Remember, you want to seem professional.
Resumé
Even though a lot of jobs for teens do not require a resumé for them, it is still a good idea to have one. It can make you look more professional and even boost your chances to get that job! Here are some ideas as to what you can put on your resumé:
A lot of people may wonder where they can apply. Well one tip is to always keep your eyes open. At the storest that you go to check to see if they have any help wanted sections. Most companies have similar site so just keep your eyes open.

One of the last steps to get a job is to have an interview. Here are some tips:
